Through this appointment, Dr. Ramos and Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES will support a thorough search with the goal of appointing a new Superintendent.
The Board of Education is committed to receive feedback from all stakeholders. Throughout the search process, the Board will work with the Search Consultant to collect feedback in many different ways.
Beginning stages of the superintendent search will begin in January 2023. During January, feedback on the qualities of a superintendent will be collected via a confidential survey. Students, staff, families and community members will be invited to participate in the survey. Feedback will also be collected through community and district stakeholders’ conversations. Dr. Ramos will be having conversations with parents, staff, community members, and students. Details to access the survey link and to participate in conversations will be shared once the search begins in January. All the information collected will be confidential. We are hoping that all participate during this important time of information gathering. The Board of Education is committed to listening to the feedback. Your voice matters and all the information collected by Dr. Ramos will remain confidential with no identifiers shared with the Board of Education.
Come January, as the superintendent search process evolves, information will be updated on the W-FL BOCES website with links placed on the district website to access the information. It is the hope of the Board of Education to have a candidate chosen by late Spring.
